Bangalow Theatre Company Announces Auditions for A Streetcar Named Desire

Bangalow Theatre Company is thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming production of Tennessee Williams' timeless masterpiece A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by award-winning director Amy Skene, and starring Australian actress Madeleine West as Blanche DuBois.

This is a bold reimagining of a timeless classic — atmospheric, bold, and deeply human. A Streetcar Named Desire explores desire, survival, illusion, and the brutal cost of dreaming in a world that has no room for dreamers. We are looking for exceptional performers to bring this iconic story to life on the stage of the Byron Theatre.
