Welcome to Bangalow Theatre Company
We are Bangalow Theatre Company, a not-for-profit community theatre group passionate about creating live theatre in the historic town of Bangalow, NSW.
Don’t miss award-winning director Kate Foster’s gritty reinvention of the Hollywood classic Calamity Jane at the Bangalow A&I Hall in October.

‘Seems a lot of men never saw one such as me. A girl what could keep up, fight and ride and curse with the best of them…’
Hold on to your hat, take a swig of sasparilly, and climb aboard the Deadwood stagecoach for the all shootin’, all dancin’, gender-bending musical comedy Calamity Jane from 17-26 October at the Bangalow A&I Hall.
Feeling peckish? Get into the Calamity spirit and tuck into our pre-show themed dinners and cocktails. Pre-order from a range of mouth-watering dinner and show packages prepared by proud supporters One Green Acre.
BTC are helping to bring something precious back to Bangalow! The locally famous, and much loved Cabaret Da Desh is back with a fresh name…
Winter in Bangalow hasn’t been the same since the demise of our beloved Cabaret DaDesh (run by the fabulous Ruth and Karen Ryan) … BUT as we say in showbiz always expect the unexpected! Stand-by, as Cabaret BanGala; an evening of fun, frivolity and laughter, is coming to town!
Local talent will take to the stage at the A&I Hall (some of whom may never have performed before!) for a winter’s evening of merriment, on Friday 16th August, 2019.
The aim of Cabaret BanGala will be to raise money for two fantastic Bangalow community organisations; The Bangalow Lionhearts and Bangalow Theatre Company.
*Tickets will go on sale on Saturday 27th July.
